Business Studies Project Class 11 – Visit to a mall

INTRODUCTION:

A shopping mall is a modern, chiefly North American, the term for a form of the shopping centre, in which one or more buildings form a complex of shops representing merchandisers with interconnecting walkways that enable customers to walk away from the unit to unit. A shopping arcade is a specific type of shopping precinct which is usually distinguished in English from mall shopping by the fact that connecting walkways are not owned by a single proprietor and are in the open air.

Other entertainment facilities include PVR Directors Cut, on the third floor. Adding to the list, a large food court has been made on the third floor which includes some famous food outlets like Subway, McDonald’s, and Burger King.

PARKING FACILITY:

The mall has a large area for parking in the basement and lower basement of the building. The parking area can accommodate more than 2000 cars. The facility of valet parking has also been provided by the mall authorities at the upper ground of the mall.

The mall has ensured proper security for the vehicles of the visitors even outside the mall premises. More than 10 watchmen are appointed for security outside the mall. The Parking area is secure with CCTV Cameras and Watchmen for each block.
